We offer several different flooring options to suit every site and budget.

The following lists all of these starting with the cheapest first:

No Floor

We will advise you if we believe that a marquee will look best with no floor at all. This may be for a garden party or lunchtime drinks in mid to late summer on a flat, even and hard lawn.

carpet

We offer both new and used cord carpet. New carpet is popular for weddings or smart parties, and comes straight off the roll in any colour of your choice from our suppliers’ swatches.

We then offer this at a discounted rate once it has been used (and assuming it is in reasonable condition). Hence used carpet will be subject to availability but we generally always have it in green, black, beige or blue.

Carpet laid on Waterproof Membrane

The carpet is laid over a waterproof sheet to protect it from wet from the ground below – both layers are then nailed to the ground. This is good on flat lawns but can be hazardous on more undulating or bumpy ground.

Eventfloor >>

This is a hard wearing green plastic rollout flooring, about 16mm high, which allows air to run through it (allowing grass to survive longer) and, if laid on tarmac, allows water to run under it. It can be used in a multitude of scenarios.

To create walkways over areas that may get muddy or wet.

On soft or uneven grass to form a hard, even base that is less likely to cause twisted ankles and can withstand stilettos.

On tarmac or other hardstanding areas to allow rainwater to run under the floor of a marquee.

It can be ‘packed up’ to level a slope in a small marquee.

The individual sections can be cut out to incorporate trees, bushes or other structures.

For more formal events we then cover the Eventfloor with cord carpet, either new or used, which is secured with double sided tape.
